If you want to save 5K. Buy Micromax A85. Same tegra 2 chipset, but with android 2.2 :(

If you have 15K, get DEFY and install Cyanogenmod 7 and get instant gingerbread or wait for two months and get Icecream sandwich!

If you have 8K, go for Dell XCD 35 (Only if you are going to install cyanogenmod in it, else don't think about it) or optimus one (can use without cyanogenmod, but installing it is better). Go for Galaxy Y or Micromax A70 when you are really strict on budget!
