Monitors Best monitor within 25K

Hi guys,

My budget is 25K and I want to buy the biggest LED monitor with the best resolution.

Right now I have Dell U2412M 24 inch 16:10 1920x1200 IPS monitor (18K) and the New Dell 27-inch 1920x1080 monitor (22K I think, not sure).
I don't know if 1920x1080 in 27-inches will look pixelated or not..
I'm searching for better LED monitors that have bigger screens than 24-inch hopefuly better than 1920x1080 resolution..

Please let me know if U know anything better.

Thanks in advance :)

EDIT: Made some research ,
1 Looks like all 27-inchers under 25K are 1920x1080p. My doubt is whether it'll look really good or not , because I'm buying this for a 65K gaming rig to play using 1 monitor @ultra settings for the latest racing games using logitech G27 steering wheels, and I don't want the monitor's performance to affect the game graphics looks.

2 If I'm gonna buy a 27-inch LED monitor I should go for IPS right? It's already only 1920x1080 , I guess TN panels will make it look even worse? ( Just my guess )

Thanks

Made some more research and saw the Shimian 27-inch 2560x1440 monitor... Looks like it's great value.. Has any1 bought this? I want to know how much this comes inclusive of all taxes and where I can get one.
I searched in ebay.in but could'nt find one.

Thanks :)

@GODMODE09 You won't get any IPS 27" Monitor within 25k,The prices go up to 40k or more.If you're going to stick to 27" size then better get a TN Panel.
Another option is you get a 24" H-IPS Panel which is much better than your existing U2412HM,So if you're ready to get that then go for this-
Dell U2410-26k OR Asus PA248Q-34k,I'd say go for Dell U2410 it's within your budget and it's one of the best IPS Monitors out there. Here's a review of it-Dell U2410 Review

Hey guys,
I'm planning on buying the 27-inch 2560x1440 Korean monitors... Looks like it's sick value for money. Any1 had any experiences with it??

New YAMAKASI CATLEAP Q270 SE 27" LED 2560X1440 Computer Monitor + Tempered glass | eBay

@saifbukhari had one for sale and only he can really tell about its actual quality (real world experience). PM him.

@6pack and @Jarod can guide you more, 6pack was going through a lot of monitors before he finally settled one that suited him and his budget.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

the shimian/yamasaki/achieva monitors have only a dual link dvi port for input. no hdmi or display port. i think dell has released some new ultrasharp monitor U2713HM with same specs as the shimian monitor, except it has dvi, hdmi, display and usb ports too. might be around 23k. its 27" i guess with 2560x 1440 resolution. plus you get 3 yrs warranty with dell. its ips panel so i dont think its wise to use for gaming. ips panels have higher lag compared to 6bit tn panels. these achieva and shimian are 8bit panels having higher resolution. i dont game so i may be talking without knowing. the dell has 8ms response times as in link below.

If a monitor has response time above 8ms or 10ms then it'd lag while playing games. So OP should take a look at the monitor before choosing it.

U2713HM @ 23k ? :O I think it retails somewhere around 38-40k.

Yes it's 40k i think,It's not available in india though,OP will have to exclude Dell if he wants 27" within that budget,Viewsonic OR Benq could be options OR something from outside india.

The Shimian monitors have a response time of 6ms and the Dell has 8ms (hopefully if it is less than 24K). Is the 2ms really worth the Korean make over Dell?
Also I have decided to buy a 27-inch 2560x1440 now. :D I really needed it for work (play poker). I have'nt played games at all after NFS MW in my Vostro laptop. I see a lot of guys are playing games in the Korean monitor. How much difference will 2ms make ?

If u think u are lucky and wont get some dead Pixels or you can buy Perfect Pixel One By Spending some more Bucks

One thing you should consider if you're going for 2560X**** resolution that you'll need to have a Dual GPU setup OR least HD7970 OR GTX680 to play games at reasonable quality settings.6ms is good for gaming so no worries.Just check if Monitor is good enough without issues.

2ms response time is not why people choose them over DELL, its because they are a lot cheaper.

Then I just have to play at whatever settings HD7870 can offer. I actually thought about settling for HD7850 untill I thought about buying these monitors.

GODMOD, if you do get one of those korean S-IPS monitor. Please let me know about the final rate when it reached your hands (after customs and stuff). If it is below 25K for a Pixel Perfect monitor, definitely i'll be buying one very soon
