First proper score after Jan'09.
phew... This is not an easy setup to bench on after spending 3.5 years on Intel C2D/Q and i7 rig(s). :ashamed:

@ Dark Star, that is well known fact and I am still getting the feel of AM3 setup. Just more than a day to play(overclock) with it. But, I will give it a shot with another OCZ kit (7-6-6) timing. Hope it goes like you say. :D

Crazy stuff. Is this the WR for X3 720 ? Why HT is kept at normal ? You could have crossed the 11s barrier @ 2700 HT ?
 
Chew is by far the best OCer for AMD now....and he gives some sane advice.

SUper pi just does not work with my system....even at stock speeds....dont know why...maybe I need to install windows xp again.

dont think so, all of the top ocers who've tried their hand at AMD have beaten chew by a considerable margin. Sampsa, SF3D, dedal, pogofist, kingpin etc all have had far better results. its just that no one other than chew wastes their time/ln2 on amd, cuz you get better results/points investing the same amount of effort on an intel platform :p
 
I think Appo is right... its just the matter of spending time with the platform.
My single day with 965 under LN2 was enough to get decent "Xtreme" numbers out, tho I really wish LN2 was there when they said it would be.
