Anyway some good news - FXP has started work on getting CM10 to Sola/U/Go/P
Also the ICS update will come soon, it's just that they are taking time to optimize it for the 512 MB RAM Sola/U/Go. ICS update work the P is surprisingly good with very few bugs and very good improvement in performance as well as battery life. So be patient, you'll get a good ICS update.

Sola battery performance, 2 days without charge (no net - lots of music, apps/reading) and still ~40% left. BEAT That !
Yeah without net those xperias last for a couple of days easily. Try using net and the battery drains in a day mostly in 16 hrs

Lucky you.
live wallpaper drains the battery fast but still with ICS my xperia P gives a decent 16 hrs of backup with full net usage with 10 to 15 perc battery left

Yeah Live Wallpaper and Net drains battery. net draining battery shouldn't be a surprise anyways!

can you tell me what's the average size of the images clicked on sola. Are they way too compressed ? neo v had that problem . sizes were around 750kb-1mb and a lot of detail was lost resulting in blurriness
And if you could also tell me , is there an alternative to the default qwerty keyboard like an alpha numeric keyboard on all those basic nokia phones which help in faster texting using the t9 dictionary on. samsung phones have this in the "text input options" . does the sola have it too?

There is a t9 "like" keyboard option. Anyway you can always download whatever keyboard you want (t9 type too) from Google Play Store.
