Mass Effect 3 - Discussion Thread

yep amandeep i ll give a try to previous parts..well i said in my comment thats its just opinion i maybe or i am wrong..cheers

Yeah you are wrong and i'll tell you how, it's like you're commenting "I didn't like the sixth season of Lost" WITHOUT watching the first five seasons :p

We all know the sixth season of Lost was indeed terrible but that doesn't justify you criticising it without even watching the first five epic seasons.

alright amandeep i got ur point now will play previous parts and decide the game then cheers.

I'd still go play/enjoy mass effect 1 more than 2 and 3 despite the poor graphics. Mass effect 3's ending just made me puke on the entire series :(

Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut' out next Tuesday

A long-awaited download aimed at addressing the ending of the role-playing epic Mass Effect 3 will launch next Tuesday for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

According to a post on the blog for studio BioWare, the download title Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will expand upon the game's controversial finish "through additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes."

The download is free to all players until April 12, 2014.

"Since launch, we have had time to listen to the feedback from our most passionate fans, and we are responding," says BioWare co-founder and general manager Dr. Ray Muzyka in a statement announcing the DLC in April. "With the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut we think we have struck a good balance in delivering the answers players are looking for while maintaining the team's artistic vision for the end of this story arc in the Mass Effect universe."

Uproar over the game started not long after its March release with players criticizing its final moments. Without spoiling what happens, Mass Effect 3 seems to leave a lot of questions unanswered, including the fates of several characters.

"It gives a sense of what the future holds as a result of the decisions made throughout the series. And it shows greater detail in the successes or failures based on how players achieved their endings," says a statement from BioWare on the Extended Cut download.

I have already uninstalled the whole game. So would just be Tube'ing this one.

Haha totally! Uninstalled it after I had completed the playthrough but I removed the installation files entirely after I heard BioWare is coming up with the extended DLC. Will YouTube it rather.

I removed it pretty recently, as I got tired of the game occupying unnecessary space on my HDD. Since the DLC didn't have any release date scheduled, I decided to chuck it off. No big loss, if it's just a bunch of cut-scenes that we have to watch.

Quite frankly, I'm extremely disappointed with the games released till now, for this year. Max Payne 3 being the only exclusion. If this continues, this would probably be labeled as the worst year for gaming. :(
