DC++ hubs from mumbai

i curently using MTNL...so no DC++

So if i want to use dc++ at DAHISAR...should i switch to PACENET Or Sify??

For Pacenet i have 1 Hub address wherein i can connect..

Wat about Sify??
 
switching to hathway, any dc++ hubs in prabhadevi/ dadar(w) area,to be precise near kirti college, gettin connection tmrw, already applied for it

go to my network places -> rt click -> properties -> local area connection ->
rt cick -> properties -> tcp/ip -> properties -> advance -> add ip address

Subnet Mask : 255.0.0.0
where xxx = 002 to 253
u can put any no. in this range
DONT USE HUB IP ADDRESS PLZ OR ULL BE BAN 4M THE HUB
DNS 1 :: 202.144.115.4
DNS 2 :: 202.144.66.6

ur ip IN range :: 10.40.xxx.xxx
subnet :: 255.0.0.0

HUB IP ADDRESS : 10.40.242.242
24 X 7 online (only offline 4 hrs due 2 load sheding no time fix)
sify users can conect the hub other users can also try
or conect thru internet ::

an anyone plz guide me how to start the lan server on my net i am having tata indicom internet....when i search via limewire i do get few connction but i want to start a hub via dc++...can anyone plz systematically tell me how to do it...i stay in 1st cross lane lokhandwala...i have tried using nassi software but...... problem is only few mesages go when i send them pm...otherwise it fails..yet received no replyy...plzz help me out friends...but now even nassi is not showing any users...secondly when i connect via limewire to user displaying ip add 10.10.247.50:33212 i get speeds upto 700kbps...someone plzz help....kokhandwala people wake up

Speeds are fast 2000+ users on Lan, hubs share has gone more than 15Tb ( Only Thane Users ) . Everything u can think of is on Lan.

WTF!!!

This is the highest I have ever seen being shared across in India.:S

And I thought Mumbai was advanced.Dude what kind of cabling structure do you people have out there? I mean how in the world can you sustain 9Mbps of speeds with so many users? This is insane.BTW what provider do you guys have out there? Great going man.:hap2:
 
We have Sify/Pacenet/Exatt/Iquara(you broadband)/tata/airtel.....

All service providers who supply via Lan cables are in the same network, some areas like where I live have gigabit switches n all, but no users with gigabit lan cards....

The speeds on lan r always in MBps, no matter how far in thane u r from a user...
 
I am currently running a DC++ hub in Hindu Colony....ppl from dadar east n around 5 gardens shld be able to connect...

The last I remember my cousin said that when they set up the hub & tried to transfer files it was a pathetic rate of 7Kbps download speed which directly indicated that some port blocking job done on 7Star's part.
