I wouldn't bother. These computer speakers with built-in AMPs don't scale well with DAC upgrades. I have tried Chord Hugo + Z623, not much of an improvement.

PS3 is still a great buy. There are plenty of used consoles and games on olx/quikr. Plenty of good exclusive games like, Uncharted series, Last of Us, GT5..

I love this shot, nice capture and nice framing. I don't see the gray bars taking anything away from the shot. Lot better than people trying to use black bars (top and bottom) on portait oriented shots.

Don't you think 35mm and 50mm are a bit too alike?? I'm saving for the Sigma 105mm Macro, which should serve as a nice portait lens too. You might want to have a look at it. Yeah, it doesn't auto focus on D5000, but you'd anyway manual focus for macro work.

550D still retails for $899 at amazon, where is it avaliable for Rs. 32k? Also, any idea on the current price of a D5000? D5000's price is climbing here.

There is never a 'one size fit all' lens, I can't think of one single lens for your interests. I'd recomment the Canon 55-250 IS, since it already has a 300+ mm FOV on cropper sensor cams. As for the night photography, get a nice tripod and experiment with long exposures on the kit lens.

Both are solid entry level bodies and equally good, and that's a sweet deal on 1000D. D3000 does not have an AF motor in its body, which makes it to be picky on old lenses. Which is not the cased with the canon, enjoy the 1000D. Happy clicking.

Hi, I'd advise buying stuff, only when you feel something is holding your type of shooting. Get the 50mm f1.8 for sure, this would definitely improve the framing and perspective in photos. Get the 55-250 only when you feel that you're missing shots without the reach. May I suggest a good Sturdy...
