Anyone know where Seagate Rma Center in mumbai?
Went to there website but was there address to chennai.
So anyone knows it where is it in mumbai ?

Its still in Andheri(east) but @ SakiNaka now.

Same bldg that has the Toshiba SC, SonyEricsson SC, etc.

Don't remember the name of the bldgs but its the 2nd compound (with two tall bldgs) on the left, after U take a left 4m the main SakiNaka signal Jnct.

Its on the backside of the 1st bldg, on the ground floor.
 
i think i will need to go to this place for my 500 GB RMA ..

any idea which is the nearest railway station from this place ? i will be traveling from Navi Mumbai side :p..

there are direct trains to andheri these days.

also has seagate started door to door replacement service ?
 
Go to one in tardeo ( Accel Frontline) . Take a train till sandhurst road then get a cab and tell him to go to commerce chambers, tardeo . It's there on fourth floor along with service center of kingston,sony ericsson and a few more.

Yes they have door replacement service with some charge

you can call toll free no...1800-180-1104 and ask for door to door service..

Seagate's toll free no. is 1800 425 45 35.

and when i called on the no. to ask about door to door services ..here's thr response got.

hey tell me it's only for customers living in remote areas who do not have any service centre accessible.

service is not provided to metro cities \Mumbai customers.



by the way does anyone have the link to the official seagate page where Seagate quotes that it is providing free data recovery services to the customers with the firmware affected drives ?



i need to take a print out to show it at the service center.

I am going to the AC market,Tardeo service center today afternoon, hope everything works out.
 
I have a 750 gig seagate desktop went kaput, is there any seagate center in Pune? Also can they recover my lost data?

Seagate doesn't offer data recovery sevices in India afaik.

Usually takes 5-7 days to get rmaed and ready for delivery. :)

I intend to give my 320 gig at the Saki Naka branch of accel frontline tomorrow morning. will keep you guys posted on what happens. the guy said it will take 4 to 5 days for replacement.
