Google may be entering the tablet market by launching a 7 inch tablet which will run Android ICS later this year , said an analyst to CNET . The tablet will have 1280x800 resolution and will be possibly priced at $199 to compete with the Kindle Fire .

Microsoft files lawsuit Against Motorola Claiming Patent Abuse
Microsoft has filed a complaint against Motorola with the European Commission , arguing that motorola is abusing the patents it holds related to Web video and not offering it on fair and reasonable terms . The patent is related to the way devices access video on the Web and play it . Motorola is forcing microsoft to pay 22.50 $ for each 1000$ laptop which use H.264 standard whose patent is held by Motorola . Microsoft says these are FRAUD terms as it needs to license the patents from 29 other companies as well and pay them 2 cents for use of more than 2300 patents . Previously Apple had also appealed against Motorola claiming that it is asking for excessive royalty for licensing its patents .

Samsung Shows Off 32nm Quad Core ARM Exynos Chip
Samsung has unveiled their latest 32nm quad core Exynos 4412 chip . The new chip will be built on 32nm process and will run at higher clock speed upto 1.5GHz and offer more power efficiency . The new graphics core is used which is expected to be 26% faster consuming upto 50% less power . The chip achieves higher memory bandwidth by supporting dual channel memory . Probably ,samsung could be use this chip in the upcoming Galaxy S III .

Nokia's partnership with Microsoft for Windows Phone 7 has helped it to become the largest vendor of WP7 devices , according to a research firm Nokia gained more than 33% share in the Windows Phone 7 market in the last quarter . After Symbian loosing its market share and falling much behind Android and iOS , Nokia had to choose some alternative which led to partnership with MS for WP7 devices . Now Nokia has become no1 vendor replacing HTC which was previously the top seller of WP7 devices

Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Krait Tested On ICS
Anandtech has tested Qualcomm MSM8960 which will use new Krait CPU architecture , and manufcatured on 28nm process . The new architecture will include several improvements over previous gen processors . The MSM8960 1.5GHz dual-core CPU which was tested on ICS showed some impressive scores ,sometimes upto 2 times of current gen processors . The MSM8960 uses Adreno 225 GPU which runs at 400MHz frequency and showed performance better than any other GPU running android . According to anandtech , " this is the absolute smoothest we've ever seen Ice Cream Sandwich run " .
