this quoted points suggest that you have problems wth your video drivers. did you install any video camera or digicam or webcam?

most likely its application is/was .net based and it has disturbet some registry settings.

try to reinstall your video drivers, uninstall any video equipments and then reinstall the microsoft .net with sp1 and patches.

hope this helps.

ps : most likely deejay is watching this thread, still you can try and pm him to focus here as he is the right person to do this. he once helped me a lot.

plz help me guys...

I need a help..

ok, justgot the idea and removed all the video drivers..and I'm in the sky at the moment..

this thread has given me some good info..

I would definitely suggest this site when ppl go thru technical difficulties..:)

May seem to fix certain issues . i had a similar problem and have resolved it sucessfully by doing a system restore to a date within the week before the problem started . then by unchecking all startup items and services which are not required except AV and Nvidia services etc ...

so far 3 months down the line , no issues .

12 hours and no issues on the error yet...

will give a report if any, Well some said a malware is entered while some said a spyware and now by just deleting the video drivers I'm done..

I was happy that the problem did'nt persist for 12 hours now..

but suddenly it popped up again with the error again...

even after deleting the video drivers I get this error too...I don't know why it popped up again after 12 hours of success..

is there any spy in my pc??

any help from anyone is highly appreciated..

thanks.

Wolfff - thanks for the advice as well!

This had been driving me insane, and I hadn't even considered running my anti spyware - Ad-Aware caught it straight away!

man this thing is spreading like wildfire this is the 3rd thread about this problem including mine....

this is a trojan wich will be located in the locals folder...

even i was getting sick of this error.. in the end i just scanned the directory it was pointing at and caught 2 trojans...

Generic Host Process for WIN32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience:

1. Turn of the computer. Remove all external devices. Need to update the drivers
2. Clean Boot, Disable Antivirus. In safe mode, Navigate to registry Location HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\current version\run. In the right pane, Delete all entries except Default
3. Disable SSDP Discovery Service, windows image acquisition in Services.msc .Put this in da run command.
4. In system properties, Advanced Tab. Select settings under performance. Select DEP(data execution prevention) tab.
Check “turn on all programs…” Click Add. Navigate to c:\windows\system32. Select svchosts.exe file.
5. Clear the content in C:\Documents and Settings\Your user name\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and also from C:\Document and Settings\All users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup.
6. Do Disk Cleanup.

If the dll file is system file (we can check it in c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386 in our machine), first unregister the dll file, In recovery console, expand cd drive:\i386\xx.cl_ c:\windows\system32

If the dll file is not system file. For example if it is a printer file, remove the printer drivers and softwares.

Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Printers,
Click on File, Server Properties, Drivers tab
Check to see if that print driver is listed there, if so, click on remove.
Also,
Add the respective 3rd party Application program in exceptions tab.
Example,
add the program C:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqtra08.exe. in windows firewall exception tab

All the BEST :)
