Lol i much more noob friendly i.e. much more easier to play. But you will miss a lot of the novalties and varieties that dota 2 offers. But gameplay feels a bit more rewarding in LoL ofc.

It's an important part of the Dota metagame that you see what the other choose and try to counter pick, and in turn get counter picked yourself. Forces you to think even in the hero picking phase, as opposed to "Oh I want to play Sniper today"

Sigh. I finally pulled my head out of diablo 3 after 2 months and the dota game has added so many heroes in that short time! Back to being a noob! :|
