Bugs in Crysis

Now playing Crysis :eek:hyeah:
Playing at normal difficulty the game is quite easy. In couple of hours i finished recovery. But then i got stuck, i came to know later, because of a bug. I blew up the tanks and then nothing came in. No instructions, no new objectives. And than that damn companion of mine who was supposed to escort archaeologist (she is quite pretty, hai na) has decided to stay back in that room. I was so frustrated that i blew up a frag on his head after taking care of the tanks.
Not only that, when i exploded that frag, somehow the second tank that i destroyed earlier rose up in air (and it was far away from the scene), twisted for couple of time and disappeared :rofl:

Now i know it is a bug and I will have to play the level again, go to the Town Hall and blah blah blah but i really don't want to do it. Is there any other way to overcome this glitch? Is the latest patch takes care of this prob?

Try the new patch. There are two bugs in that level. Thank god i didn't face the problem you are facing , the other bug is in the end of the level, you have to go into a cave to end the level, but that cave will be blocked :rofl:, you need to start the game in Developer Mode and you cheats to go into the cave.

Also reg. your problem i couldn't find any solution for it, guess u have to start all over again.
 
i also faced the problem of aliens getting stuck before going BOOM! and the wall didn't collapse...so prophet got chilled up! ...had to do it 3-4 times...but then i realised that its a bug...and did the level from the beginning :|
 
Ok... i will probably play the level again. After googling, i have found that the level has to be finished in a certain manner (the way it's meant to be played :mad: ) if you want to advance further. This means that first go to town hall before you storm the building where Koreans are holding the hostage. In Town Hall blast a few of Koreans, go to first floor and wait for prophet to mouth some instructions. If the instructions come then game is gonna end alright. If they don't you r doomed to play the level again. After hearing those instructions go and storm the main building or you also snipe a couple of machine gunners from town hall. There is a snipers rifle on the right balcony of the building if you are not carrying one.
It's a nice game... Crysis, but I wonder how buggy and unoptimized it is!!!!
 
the bug i got was....wen the carrier is abt to blow...we wait for a VTOL to pick us up....the mission is to escape away from the ship which is gonna blow....and the damn VTOL dint fly towards me at all...had to restart 4-5 times ...
 
I have this stupid problem while playing the tank controlling level right after you meet Strickland. Saving there makes the game freeze for about 2-3 minutes before crashing to desktop. The only way I could get by this was by turning down my gfx settings. Patch 1.1
 
game crashing? hmmm, i had read (was it on anandtech) that the games these days are running out of RAM and crashing, 2gb is not enough, some of these games at higher settings need 4gb and 64-bit windows!
 
At the final boss-level my TAC gun was not showing a lock-on the target while that lady was shouting at me to use the TAC gun. Loading the saved game solved the problem though...

There are a few bugs in the game....you must be knowing zero-gravity frogs as well...throw them and they never come down
 
dude u can actually sue the company for such reasons if u were a citizen of US and found out that this was a bug and had some headache after playing that level u can actually get some money outa those guys :p

But may be my f***ing conscience would have got better of me. I hate this culture of suits-counter suits just because my neighbor's cat pissed in my lawn and absurd copyrights
 
jeez man.....even i got this bug , the idiot stood there, doin nuin , not even lookin at the girl :bleh: , now ill have to start all over again , btw morgy , do i have to restart the level , or can i start from a particular save point ?
