jeez man.....even i got this bug , the idiot stood there, doin nuin , not even lookin at the girl :bleh: , now ill have to start all over again , btw morgy , do i have to restart the level , or can i start from a particular save point ?
Just start from a checkpoint/manual save but make sure it is before you storm either the main building (where the archaeologist is held) or Town Hall (big building on right with lost of portraits).
This time make sure you first finish with Town Hall, go upstairs, wait for Prophet to give you some instructions and then come down and raid the main building. (my mistake was that I first finished baddies in main building and then went to town hall) :S

Now playing Crysis :eek:hyeah:
Playing at normal difficulty the game is quite easy. In couple of hours i finished recovery. But then i got stuck, i came to know later, because of a bug. I blew up the tanks and then nothing came in. No instructions, no new objectives. And than that damn companion of mine who was supposed to escort archaeologist (she is quite pretty, hai na) has decided to stay back in that room. I was so frustrated that i blew up a frag on his head after taking care of the tanks.
Not only that, when i exploded that frag, somehow the second tank that i destroyed earlier rose up in air (and it was far away from the scene), twisted for couple of time and disappeared

Now i know it is a bug and I will have to play the level again, go to the Town Hall and blah blah blah but i really don't want to do it. Is there any other way to overcome this glitch? Is the latest patch takes care of this prob?
Anyone!!!

I know which level you mean...And i Dont think its a bug. Well basically after u finish off the tanks Prophet tells you to rendezvous with him. And then u gotta leave the village and go up the waterfall that is north(or is it south of the village?)..basically go to the other end :)
But yeah it does leave u confused as to what to do coz there isnt a waypoint or marker and u gotta guess where prophet means.

PS- you dont need to go to the town hall first...jus works fine if u head to the school straight. And the Dude with you stays with the chick...doesnt move.

There is a bug here... dunno if a patch has resolved it. If you don't finish the level in a particular manner you won't get the direction to new objective on your radar. You may wish to proceed to cave on your own but the you won't be able to advance much.
If you finish the level the way it is meant to be you WILL get a marker!

Hmmm...guess it was just my love for exploring then :)
Coz I just went ahead and didnt get stuck anywhere...first time. Didnt even clear a building full of troops. Happened to stumble into them..lolz

Finally, it's over. had to use a saved game from Internet but rest was fine. :)

And yes one more thing, anyone who says 8600GT can play Crysis at medium-high settings at 1024X768 has probably not played the game.

In the final two levels (specially in last boss fight) even at all medium, 8600GT huffs and puffs to render the game smoothly. With everybody firing on all guns in the end, minimum frame rate dips alarmingly.
