Maybe if it works then people who are looking for it can all pool in and order it online. Single unit should be around $50 but if we buy more then 10 units then the cost would come down to $20.

I know its early stages but lets keep in mind that this would be out of stock as soon as it goes on sale. Maybe faster then the sale of iPhones itself. So spread the message and talk to people who have a locked iPhone 4.

The price is not $20. I read/understood it wrong. The price as of now is $50 but there is a big possibility for it to be lower. Will update once this goes on sale.

This should work in India. As you need to call 112 before you get the reception and i tried doing that with my sim card and it says kindly insert the sim card. Try this with your iphone 4's. Insert your sim card and then try calling 112. Post what all messages you all get.

Applenberry but I don't think they have enough stocks. Also I am waiting for couple of days cause in a weeks time we should have enough supplies and also a review cause in the past turbo sim had a major drawback that it used to loose signal every could of hours.

Let's just wait till the weekend is over and keep an eye on the YouTube for reviews from peeps who already got their hands on it. Also by that time we should also have a clear idea of the NCK hack being persuted by MN.

Also we still don't know weather it will work in india or not. According to wiki 112 is being listed as emergency number on gsm in India and the call gets transferred to medial depot. But last time I tried calling it got me to police control room.

First of all its not $20. Its atleast $50 plus shipping.

Okey so here is the thing. The last price I could get for the turbo sim is $70. And then there is shipping extra from us to india(my place) and again from my place to your place.

So all in all it should end up being Rs 3500 to Rs 4000. Now if you guys are interested in this pricing then do post here. I will wait till tomorrow afternoon. After that I will like to place the order.

I checked up on eBay India and the price it's available there is around 5k plus.

Just had a talk with a friend. I might be able to get these by the month end. Somebody is coming over from US and he can get it for us. But he is starting from US on 27th of this month. So we have just 4 days to get it delivered to his place. The final cost would eventually end up being lower then 3500(for a minimum of 5 pieces) if we can get it through him.

Now all the interested peeps kindly confirm me by today evening. I will also be PMing it to everyone interested.

This man says it works in India and he has seen it working with Airtel.

Also I am trying an alternate route to get the gevey sims. Through ICC world to be exact. Have asked them for a quote for 3 Pieces as of now. Lets see what price they come up with. My source is starting from US on 31st and he will reach Delhi on 5th as he will directly go to Bombay and from there to Punjab. Hence trying the alternate route.

Hey! (back from the dead)

I got a guy from Ali baba to agreeing to send me 10pcs here in India and will work out to a little less than 2500 per piece shipped. I already have a few friends here interested. Do you think its legit? I can get a test piece for $80 shipped he says.

Main concern is, will there be duty on the things? Should I tell him to tag it as a gift? Any idea?

Its shipped by DHL btw and will take 3-4 days from date of shipping to arrive.
