AFAIK...the LG service centers offers a jugaad solution...they apply a Scotch Tape patch on the under-side of the buttons and apply some sealing glue near the micro USB port of the phone....this seems to stop any more dust from getting in....but some ppl are complaining that this is not a good...

Dont think the skin will be of much help.....the problem with the faceplate is that it is not sealed properly..so dust enters through the gap between the buttons and faceplate.....any skin or cover you use will still keep the buttons open.. :( The good news is that LG seems to finally...
