English TV series discussion

^ if the name of the tv series is properly written on the file, it does download subs automatically.

if the name is jumbled up to avoid DMCA like "Cllrwhte" . it wont be able to match the sub.

generally have observed a delay of one day of the release of the file that sub is available.

^example , let's take the tv series game of thrones.. I just play the file without renaming the downloaded file name through torrent. But the shoot player wont download the subs

I feel it is always EZ to watch them on TV but they should work absolutely fine in the shoot player or whatever it is that downloads subtitles automatically. :p

Sienfeld is seriously funny. Have you watched Frasier?

I haven't seen Frasier yet, but have heard good things about it from a friend of mine.

S5/S6 are probably the best seasons of sitcom television ever, almost no filler eps. and brilliantly funny episodes all throughout. Do revisit S1-S3 after some time you will appreciate how awesome/important they were.

Also how awesome is it to have a show with no awwww (forced or natural) moments at all? :D

I probably wouldn't revisit season 1 and 2, as the humour was completely dry. It felt like an ameteur atttempt in contrast to what I'm seeing right now. 'The Chinese Restaurant' episode from season 2 is probably the only one which stood out. However, as the seasons progressed, I think they improvised on the writing and got some solid episodes in. In the first 2 seasons, I was barely getting a chuckle, but in season 4, I was practically grinning throughout my journey. I really hope it really builds up or at least sustains this funny streak for the remaining 5 seasons.

Frasier is one of the most wittiest show I have ever seen. Very witty dialogs and it's an intelligent comedy. Very underrated. Do give it a try.

To be honest, Kramer is a constant riot. Any episode. Any season. So no reason for me to revisit any. :) And George is more irritating&pathetic in first seasons.

But last few seasons, are comedy gold.

11 season featuring 22 episodes each? *gulp*

I'll check it out, once I'm probably done with Seinfeld. Thanks!

For me it was the exact opposite. Costanza was an instant hit and he still continues to be entertaining. Jerry is kind of a mixed bag. I like Elaine, nay, I love Elaine. She plays her role so effortlessly and is freakin' hilarious. Kramer is like a loose cannon, his comedy does not come from words, but rather his goofy actions. Right from his clap-worthy entry, down to the last bit.

Ah you are just watching this now. :). This scene is very very very famous :). best entry ever. by anyone. in any show or universe. period.

George (Cartwright or Can't-Stand-Ya) is irritating for me too at times. Elaine is the best female. Kramer's comedy is based more on physical actions. Only one with a proper job.
Acting wise Elaine is the best, followed by George and Kramer. I feel Jerry's acting skills need improvement. :p

Ok. I will give a try next time. Generally i use BS Player to download subs and watch in Splayer

Also, do anyone have a suggestion for Android Video player which automatically download subs? I user MXPlayer now and use subloader to download subs.. An integrated player like SPlayer would be awesome.

as for android players, i prefer the dice player to the MX player.
DICE player has a much smoother playback compared to MX player.
the earlier mx player didnt support 5.1 audio on my burst (recently found that current version of mx players now support 5.1 ch audio) , which DICE did by default.
since then never needed to move away from DICE.

I liked the entire show. :)
I had watched till Season 4 long time back. Then I took a break.
Got into House MD, Supernatural and Luther.
Sometime back started with Season 5 of Psych. Yes even I like the Series.
In Season 5, the episode about the Polar Bear was very funny. Guss doesnt have groins :D :D
