Hi,

Will Intel Xeon E3-1235L v5 CPU work with Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2 Socket LGA 1151 Motherboard?

There are many used Xeon E3-1235L v5 floating on eBay at attractive prices as low as $100.

Both are same socket 1151, but when I checked my Mobo's CPU support list. The is no Xeon support.

Was thinking of replacing my Intel G4400. Can this be done?

No. With skylake, they only allow workstation or server chipsets to use Xeons. The reverse ie. the WS and server chipsets can run anything from Pentium to Xeons.

Also, can you give me some links which would ship to India? Need to buy one.

Yep only till Haswell, Xeons could run on consumer boards. You are better off buying an i5/i7.

I need to use it with Hauppauge PVR-500 tv tuner cards for my htpc running Mythtv.
On second thoughts that X11SAE-F uses a bridge to get the PCI slot as the chipset doesn't have native PCI support. It may not be the best choice.
