The two I am considering are Panasonic's cheapo (but good performer/reviews) ~$20 on amazon, and Monster cable << $100 for Bravia 32W400A and Sapphire 4870(means gaming :D ) or other equipment.

I have no idea what others on TE are using.:D Length would be at least 1.5m.

Won't mind spending a bit on it given that it performs fine.

Thanks!

Get a MX HDMI cable u can find in the market. It's damn cheap and is very good.

If et all u don't find this go to a Philips Arena and u mite find them. If all fails, get the cheapest one u are getting. The quality will still e the same. :)

Errrr get a cheap one! HDMI is digital no need to waste a fortune on high end expensive cable.

Perfectly said. This is marketing at its best. You don't need to spend 5k on a friggin' cable, just pick up the cheaper model.

ROFLMAO had to post this.

Audiophile Deathmatch: Monster Cables vs. a Coat Hanger

On a serious note, look for a cable from a reputed brand, the panny you mentioned is good, trouble with el-cheapo cables is the build of the connection endpoint, which may not be standard size, a little larger and you screw ur equipment a little loose n it keeps falling off, we've all been through this at some point of time or the other.

PS:Me considering the DAC one for about 1K for 1.5 Mt.

Listen get a good cable if you getting it done with your furniture..inside wall ..cabinet etc which is merely impossible to come out without carpenter assistance.

If not, then just get a simple HDMI cables like I posted above or buy any crap from ebay. Listen its fookin digital, so a good quality or normal quality doesn't matter here. 01010101 will go or wont go.
