hmmm..
under those conditions,i'd recommend the following phones:
1. SE W580i ~ 10.3k ~ slim,funky,walkman slider phone
2. SE K790i ~ 11k ~ a cybershot wonder
3. Nokia E51 ~ 12.1k ~ its a business phone! but it sure its slim n exciting..
4. Motorola RAZR2 V8 ~ 12.1K ~ the next gen moto razer !
5. Samsung D900i ~ 10k ~ a cute yet powerful slider phone

sure i am increasing your options but all these phones are worth considering..
check 'em all out in person and decide..

Anyways..

With a budget of 22k ,the following phones are worth considering:

1. SE K850i ~ 19.1k
2. LG KU990 Viewty ~ 21k
3. Nokia N82 ~ 21.6k
3. Samsung G800 ~ 19.2k

Now,that's one from every brand..
All the above phones sport a 5MP primary camera and have decent sound quality !

Well check em out in person and decide..

n82 is for 21k .. its black avatar is coming in a week or so ..

@Rahulrulez - r u concerned about sound playback through speakers or headset? .. cos all the above mentioned phones have pretty good sound quality through headset .. if loud speakers are what u looking for then n73 is the way to go ..

SAR rating seems too high, no idea about audio playback quality if u buy let us know about it.

E51 is a very decent phone, but is there any particular reason why you are buying that phone for your sis...

bcause unless she wants to use Wlan or symbian apps, there are other s40 phones you can consider like nokia 6500 classic or nokia 5310, etc

Need a good mobile with decent cam (at least 2MP), a very good music player and FM.. Bluetooth and expandable memory is a must. 3G and EDGE are optional. Looks are not the deciding criterion. :D

Budget is 7.5K max..! Would prefer Nokia or SE.. other brands will be considered if they offer good VFM.. Currently looking at Nokia 6233.. Should I conisder or check out any other models..?

did u bother going through the entire thread??
members have enquired bout htc phones..
and phones from brands like htc,dopod,palm etc.. are very much sold in india.
frankly,not many ppl here seek to buy WinMobile phones,so less amount of info or enquiries on them.
this thread is basically to advice ppl on choosing the right mobile phone and to cater to their enquiries bout the same..doesn't specialize in particular types..

For upto 8k,you have the following options:

SE K550i ~ 7.4K (2MP/AF/Flash cam,decent audio,std. music player,good battery life)

Nokia 6300 ~ 7.5k (2MP cam,decent audio,3g,vivid display,std. music player,avg. battery life)

Nokia 6233 ~ 6.9K (2MP cam,good audio,3G,std. music player,good battery life)

Apart from the ones mentioned above,
there's the MOTO SLVR L9 for 6.8K ,which you could consider..

So to sum it up..
I'd recommend them in the following order:
1. SE K550i (My pick!)
2. Nokia 6233
3. Nokia 6300

Check 'em out in person n decide..

For 15k u can get

-N81 2 Gb
- Se W910
- Se W890i

I will surely recommend N81 as it trumps when it comes to audio quality, and having symbian, along with wifi is always great.......

Hi all

I am looking to buy a phone for business. I need an intuitive phone with fast easy access to make appointments and add notes for accounts. I'd like to have Wifi/Bluetooth, but I don't really care too much about multimedia as I have a good PMP. I'd like a nice readable, good size screen... but not so large that it is awkward to carry around. Removable storage would be a plus, as would good amount of mem (or upgradeable mem if that exists) Price is not an issue, but of course I don't want to spend a fortune if I don't have to.

Any advice would be much appreciated ;)

I have a lap top, so please don't suggest it :p

Isn't the Nokia N81 8GB 's current market price 17.5k??

Coming to you query,u could have been a little more specific about the physical & technical features your looking for..

Anyways for around 15-16k..

From the Nokia stable:

Nokia 6500 Slide ~ 14k ~ A decent all-rounder s40 based slider phone
Nokia N73 Me ~ 13.2k ~ A decent s60(its slower!) based candybar form factor phone

And from SE:

SE W910 ~ 15.4k
SE K810i ~ 13.1k

So if the camera is of top priority..
1. SE K810i
2. Nokia 6500 Slide

And if its music..
Its the SE W910 !!
