My friend's got a Dynet 2GB DDR2 800Mhz RAM stick.How much can he expect for it considering today's RAM prices?

Best is to throw it away. Dunno who would want one of those. Max to max, say around 300/400 if someone still wants it desperately.

8-9k, maybe less depending on condition and accessories included (I don't know whats your definition of pristine, for me its open box but not used lol)
Consider no warranty as not everybody will fly to UK to get it repaired (Don't get me wrong but many forums now consider foreign warranty as invalid)

25-26k, maybe less (New is approx 29.9k on ebay, sealed with man. warranty), am not sure if you consider it under warranty or no as you don't have bill, why you no give bill with gift!
