Bump!!!

A new 7750 for 6k would give it nearly some competition, not in terms of perfect performance but newer tech. A new 6850 for about 7-8k will be almost as fast. If you are lucky you may be able to get 5k+. Check the price of a new 6850, multiply that by 0.7 and sell for that price. Check reviews of 7770 if it performs as fast as a 6850 then price at 0.6 x 7770

Are u sure with the pricing on 5850?? its still 12.5K in primeabgb for a new one and this is 2 yrs old with condition 10/10

Unless it has sufficient warranty, do not compare it to official pricing. Another factor that you have not considered is that not many people will be interested in getting a 5850, but rather a niche crowd [think CrossfireX]

Finally, as #rite has suggested do the math, but would suggest to go with around a figure of 0.5 for the costing. This is because although it is powerful, it has issues with tessalation and other factors affecting the 5XXX series. Read up on that too.

I had a quote of 5K in a shop for it. Usually the guys selling pc components wud not even care for your old parts (they act as if they dont) and purchase it finally for a cheap price from u as if they are doing a favor. And so the question. Anyways thanks for ur valuation

If you are getting 5K for it, go for it. pretty good IMO, as anyone who wants to buy a GPU used or new is going to look forward to a 6XXX series or a 4XX/5XX series.

However, tell them 5.5K for the same and see if they budge.
