Boston Acoustics is at par with JBL and Polk Audio and has amazing speakers. Don't know about the warranty.

Apparently they are currently carrying out some server migration/upgradation. Got an SMS and the executive at the Retail store was unable to access my invoice on his system.

If the disk controller with the encryption hardware goes kaput, you cannot just open up the case, take out the HDD and put it on another computer to try and extract the data. You will need to get a matching disk controller or give it to a data recovery place to get back your data.

To add to that you can still format the drive and use it albeit losing the data
