Good to know you love stealth as well mate! :)

My take: There's a marked difference when I separate true stealth gems from others. Far Cry 3's stealth mechanics are not what I like actually. I like the old hide and seek in the shadows like in the Splinter Cell series and Thief. Hiding behind a box and throwing stones repeatedly to separate enemies from one another isn't my thing really. Not to mention I found that task of taking over outposts a repeat and rinse job, arduous and anything but riveting.

I agree that the game does not have complete stealth mechanics but having an option to go silent is good . Loved the Hitman series games and also DXHR, didn't play the previous games in Deus Ex series . The task of taking outposts without getting detected is hard . If you still have the game installed try it , you get 1500XP for it . :D

If you haven't tried the Splinter Cell series, do give it a try for sure mate and not to forget the legendary Thief: Deadly Shadows!

Somehow Far Cry 3 hasn't done it for me. It might be very pleasing to the eyes but strangely enough it's not got me riveted at all.

Finally! Prepare for an amazing journey. :p

As for me, I haven't touched a game since the last 2 weeks - been busy fiddling with my phone, some work load, watching ROME etc. Should resume once I am back from my 1 week trip to home. Looking forward for DmC and Dead Space 3.
 
@Gannu: I finished playing the first episode yesterday and it was gripping as hell, loving it. It's like a good book your slowly sinking into and cherishing the read more with each page. :)

Completed Batman: Arkham City (batman episodes), on the 3rd Catwoman episode, Robin and Nightwing remain.

Man this was a good game, way better than AA.
