Audio [WTB] Noise cancelling headphones

Hi, there is lot of noise where I stays and it gets difficult to work so I was thinking of noise cancelling headphones, can someone suggest me which are the best once ? I can shell 2k-4k for really good once, I don't listen to audio, just want something to reduce the outside noise

I have the creative ep-630 and i love it. Cancels outside noise and sounds great. Priced around 850 Rs.

Nothing works better than ear muffs just for reducing outside noise . The next best thing would be buying a ep630 or JVC Marshmallow and buying foam tips for the same .

I would stay away from Ep-630, Somehow never liked & always sounded like mono.
Go for Soundmagic PL11, awesome sound with great bass.

not an audophile. but i like the isolation from outsde noice provided by sennheiser HD 203. very good isolation from surrounding noise. tried it in an autorickshaw on a very busy road

You just want to isolate noise. Go to any sports shop and ask for noise supressing earplugs. Best for your need. Regarding noise cancellation headphones, be ready to shell out atleast 8k for the cheapest set.
