Linux which linux distro!!!!

Fedora core 6 looks like very nice for all kind of users .. it includes both gnome and kde :)

u can always dl and check if the distro suits u in Vmware :) .. u can get the distros in distrowatch :)

wat actually happened was that i installed the whole OS and not even an option for putting the bootloader came up....where..i mean at wat step shud it pop up....

!!!!!!

and yea...VMware has got some problem wid me...it eats up the resources like hell..and what more..it doesn recognises the hard disks...i have a pen drive but it is only 512 mb..:(

so any way now to correct the problem..i mean the bootloader thing

I've got a partition on Windows with loads of space and i want to use 10gb from that to install Mandriva. So how do i go about partitioning using Knoppix? Also when i install Mandriva, will the GRUB loader add the Mandriva option? I currently have Debian and Windows XP and want to try out a Red Hat based flavor due to lots of space available.
