PC Peripherals Which LASERJET/DESKJET printer

i am currently in a dilemma as to which printer to buy.
have so far zeroed in on HP LASERJET 1018.
Are there any other viable options in this range.How good are SAMSUNG laser printers.
So far what is really tilting me towards a laser printer is that they toner can be easily refilled in nehre place for 200 bucks.
The printer would primarily be used at home.I dont need color printouts much.
But the usage would be about 10-15 pages a day(about 500 pages a month).
So going by my monthly usage is it advisable that i go with a laserjet.
Someone at nehru place told me that bubblejet/deskjet these days are as economical as laserjets.
Please can anybody suggest the best possible option in this price range(upto 6000)

Buy, HP 1018 before stock closes. If u can afford more then go for 1020 Plus.

Both the models stopped manufacturing.

are you sure 1018 stopped being manufactures:huh: :huh:
i know that HP recently launched J1006 and J1007 but being new models with a new spherical toner maybe while going for refilling the toner might pose a problem.
while 1018 and 1020 used versatile 12A toner which can be refilled easily
so got to pick up either 1018 or 1020 before stocks exhaust.

anybody here has already purchased the new p1007 printer.
is it better than 1018 and in what respect.
i saw the picture on HP website and it sure looks sleek and better than 1018.
But as pointed out well it uses a different toner than what was previously used by HP printers.
The refilling was easier for previous toners.Dont have an idea whether these toners can also be refilled easily.
Anybody having experience with P1007 printer please share their views
