CPU/Mobo Where to get Biostar 785G mobos in Mumbai?

TE sold me the idea of an AMD Athlon X2 + Biostar mobos such as A785GE or TA785GE-128M instead of the well-trodden path of Intel dual-core + G21 Gigabyte setup. Last week, i went to Lamington Road, hunting for the same. Prime quoted 8k for Athlon X2 240 + Biostar TA785GE-128M. Others quoted almost similar figures in the range of 8k to 8.3k This seems ridiculous as X2 240 is around 3k, and as per lynx, the biostar mobo is around 4.2k.

I also emailed itwares and deltapages (chennai) for a quote of TA785GE-128M. I never got a reply from itwares, and delta replied after 3 days saying 3700 nett, but stock expected on fri (ie 30 oct).

time is running out for me...i have to setup this comp in another 8-10 days. can anyone help with a genuine quote (here in mumbai)? i am willing to go upto Rs. 7500 for Athlon II X3 435 + TA785GE-128M. Else I'll settle for a E5200+G31 which comes in Rs.5600.

(use of computer: no gaming but a better display for hd video purposes is welcome, will also be used as a digital audio workstation)

lostprophets, thx for the reply. couple of things...

1. even TA785GE-128M has sideport memory (128 mb)

2. TA790GXBE is at least rs.1000 costlier. agreed that its gpu is better. but i don't necessarily need a better gpu. i wd rather put that extra 1k to get a faster processor.
 
I know TA785GE has sideport memory, i was saying TA790GXBE doesnt have it

TA790GXBE is only cost 300 more than TA785GE. At lynx it priced at 4500 so it wont cost any more than 4.7k

i faced the same problem during sept when i went to buy the same config as urs; most of the dealers did not had TA785GE; ultimately settled for A 240 + Asus M4A78EM-1394 that came in 7600/-

But i observed that there are others who quoted less than prime. i bought the stuff from IT Hub, which quoted everything less than what prime quoted. eg - he quoted 550BE for 4900/- which prime quoted for 5300/-

try ur luck - IT Hub - 23853337/38 - better go there and bargain
