WhatsApp group administrator roughed up for dropping members

According to investigators, cloth merchant Bunty Kursija was running a group called Jai Ho on WhatsApp in which two other people - Anil Mukhi and Naresh Rohera - reportedly posted vulgar and obscene messages.

Despite repeated warnings by Kursija, they continued their online antics following which Kursija deleted them from Jai Ho.
Unable to digest this, both Mukhi and Rohera threatened Kursija and even raked up an old issue of Mukhi's monetary outstandings from the group admin.

When Kursija refused to be cowed down by their threats, they hired Babu Gaekwad and Bablya who went to the shop and demanded Mukhi's dues from him.
When Kursija refused to oblige, Gaekwad and Bablya barged into the shop of Kursija and attacked him with knives on Wednesday night, police said.

Later, police managed to nab them through the footage of the CCTV installed in the shop.

During interrogation, the motive behind the attack were revealed by the duo after which police arrested Mukhi and Rohera.

Kursija, who was rushed to a hospital, is now stable, police said.

The way the news is presented makes the situation seem like it happened due to removal of 2 members from a whatsapp group... However the real factor seems like money being owed and not paid back... God bless our media...

First the so called victim took the money. Then he dared not to return it back?
What kind of insanity is this. The real victim are shown as villans and the culprit is shown as a victim of whatsapp frenzy.
What a ridiculous excuse. How can anyone kill someone just because he removed it from a anonymous whatsapp group.

I beleive that they must have been removed by the victim because they might have been asking him to pay back in the group itself which the so called victim is trying to show as vulgar.
Its the same situation when a tenant refuses to vacate the house and also refuses to pay the rent. Obviously, the owner would get enraged by the and might go to any extent to get them back which is perfectly right.
Its high time that indians leave there cheap mentality and become some what more civilised and keep there word.
