CPU/Mobo Weird USB problem..

Hi everyone,
I plugged in a friends USB hard drive and after that all my USB ports stopped working.. Devices still get power in them, my pendrive's light is on.. But nothing's being detected.. Any ideas? I'm using Vista Ultimate 32bit and tried all the usual stuff right down to updating my BIOS and reinstalling Vista.. Nothing seems to work :S
