Hii guys, My internet is working fine with a wired connection ,, but as soon as i switch on the wireless on my laptop , there is no connection at all...
Now , Signal strength is full ,,
I can ping the router
Can ping any site (say google etc) : No packets loss at all
Firewalls off !
Tried using MAC filtering aswell , No Joy !
Antivirus: Microsoft Security Essentials
Windows 7 pro
Laptop : Dell Vostro 1014
Now initially i thought that maybe thers a problem with the wireless card/ driver/ laptop hardware etc.. Reinstalled drivers , tried disabling and enabling , but nothing !
Tried connecting a friends laptop, it didnt work aswell ,, My laptop also works fine with other connections, So definately there is a problem with the modem. Its a DNA-A213 modem supplied bY MTNL.
Whenever i try to open a web page, it says> connecting> connected , but it just stays blank,,, there is no error or message. it doesnt show(transferring data etc).. it just goes blank....
Summary:
Wireless not connecting,wired fine
Pings succesfully in wireless
Tried other laptops
Modem problem.
Please guide guys..... Would really appreciate your help !!!!
