Hey everyone, my cousin has got a Philips Dvd player, model is 5106K/97...
Since its two years old now he was looking for a firmware upgrade for it as on buying he was informed that the firmware is upgradable. He asked me to check regarding the same and so i was checking on the Philips website today and theres no firmware update at all for this model however there is one for another model: DVP5986K/98
I was wondering whether the update file of this model could be used to update the firmware on the 5106K? Is it possible or would it cause problems? Has anyone tried it before???
