unable to bridge wireless connection

hi....
i am having an access point setup at my home.... primaly for having mobile internet at home...

i want to bridge the wireless to my ethernet connection... so that i can connect my other computer which is not having the wireless facility, to the computer which is having the wifi usb dongle, to use the internet

i have tried with bridge option provided by windows xp.... but doesnt seem to work....moreover my wireless connection also goes bad.... doing so...
searching on google i found the trick to force the compatibilty mode..... but it also does not seem to work
