U-Torrent not seeding/uploading

Im using U-Torrent client & initially download speeds were low, so I on someones suggestion made some changes to the programme to facilitate downloads(which now I have forgotten)!
Now, the client is not seeding/uploading content with a result my ratio is going haywire.
Most of the downloaded torrents are going in the inactive list. How to set this right or revert back to default settings?
 
go to C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\uTorrent (XP)

or C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent (Vista)

and delete the files settings.dat and settings.dat.old.

after this,..you will be reset to the default connection settings of utorrent.

Can any suitable changes be carried out from the "prefrences" from the client itself?
 
Even i use Vista. Had the same problem some weeks back. I unchecked "enable uPnP port mapping" in Preferences>Connection and then utorrent was working fine. Give a try. :)

Also, just to be sure, check the port being used by UT is open.

the Appdata folder is hidden most of the times. enable "Show hidden files" from folder options.
