Windows Transfer Windows 10 license to a new laptop

I have a laptop running windows 10. When it was bought it had vista. Then i upgraded to windows 8 through the windows upgrade offer for 1999 rs and later upgraded to Windows 10 when it became available. Now I am planning to buy a new laptop.So is it possible to transfer the license from my old laptop to the new laptop.In that case I can buy a DOS version and install Windows with the product key i have. Of course I will be uninstalling the product key from my old laptop/downgrade it to vista.

Based on how they executed it for those who upgraded to Windows 8 from Windows 7 before, in any event that you need to use your OS on a new computer, or if you had to replace the motherboard on your current computer, you would need to get in touch with Microsoft and they'd be able to help you reactivate the copy on your new system.
