Thanks Appo ! I just hope the biostar mobo gets repaired. Ive asked Abacus to send it to taiwan for 1366 socket replacement.

Btw appo sir, what were your idle temps (stock) - i7 D0?

Thanks G33k, thats a Thermalright IFX-14, form factor similar to the new king - the Noctua-D14.

@ Mohit : It really isnt worth 17k, imo should be around 15-16k, but then this motherboard was severely out of stock in most of the places.

no idea :p, never used the board in main rig, amey is using a ud3r atm in his rig with a cogage, he can tell the temps. am getting a new cpu+mobo combo in a couple of days, will post in show off :p

First attempt and voila! 4.2ghz (turbo) Although temps are on a higher side. Stable for 4 hours with Everest Stability tests.
