Its simple when your subject is close and background is far. Used super macro mode for 1st pic. I'm using Fz-35.
 
Freaky, Gannu thanks. Seems like I am really enjoying casual photography :) A lot of my earnings are going into camera gear next year :p

1) cropped out the bottom part

2) adjusted the colors (increased yellow,orange,blue a bit)

3) unsharp mask (to get outlines of those buildings on the horizon)

4) contrast brightness - minor adjustments, to make it please my eyes :D
