The Nokia 3110 Classic(Rs.4k) will satisfy your purpose. If you want something cheaper, I think the Nokia 2600 may also do that.

Yes, it is just for internet connectivity purpose so cheaper the better.

Thanks thetoxicmind, I don't think MTNL and BSNL has EDGE in most parts, so I guess I'll go with GPRS based model. Btw will I have to purchase a USB cable with these phones or do they come with it?

Data Cable is never included with low-end phones so you'll have to get one that's compatible with your phone.

Alternatively,one can also use the phone as a modem through an IR or Bluetooth connection, provided their PC has an IR or Bluetooth port/dongle.

If you are buying this phone for use ion New Delhi, I think you should go for the models which have EDGE.

Even if you live in a small town then it can be safely assumed that EDGE is available there.

Hi,

I require a new Phone to replace my broken W700i.

I am looking at the new T700 from SonyEriccson.

or a used LG Prada which I can't seem to find,

as I think it is the best looking phone around.

I just want a normal phone that looks nice.

My budget is 12-15K.

I dont use a camera or the walkman.

I want to use Google maps if possible.

PLease suggest if the T700 is good? and also is the all

black one is available. Thanks a lot.

PS. I like my phones to be fast.

You have two options: Asus P320(GPS, Wi-Fi) and HTC P3400.

Asus P320 is more feature packed than the P3400 and retail for almost the same price. Both are priced below 10k.

Your best bet would be the HTC Touch Viva (13.3K*) !
