captivate was locked.

unlocking is easy generally for sgs family phones.

came to be $270 + 730 (shipping + Duty)

seller had included the paypal receipt of $270 as it was insured... which made them charge duty for $270 instead of inr10000 (like in previous case)

not a big deal as the final amount previously was inr666 for shipping + Duty

Update:

the other drive is also faulty,,

TH, and Powersurge: Brilliant purchase, I have used the Canon 1.4, and its visibly sharper then the f1.8 at wide apertures. In addition some fast and accurate AF under low light..

I wanted the 50/1.7, but it is impossible to find.. it is sharper at f/1.7 than the 1.4 @ 1.4

Oh well, it's still a damn good lens, at an unbeatable price (paid 7k for a pristine copy)
