Sorry for the poor photos, they don't do justice to this beast. The source was an iPhone 4G :ashamed:

Only question, how heavy is this thing? :p

And the 6990 is the best part!

wow, that looks huge and mean in red.

Congrats dude.

btw, any particular reason you went for a gaming laptop rather than a proper PC ? Aren't you there for a while ?

BTW I can change colors anytime I want and they are highly customizable. :D

I went for a gaming laptop because I had to get a decent laptop anyways for college, so I thought why not go all the way and buy something that will last me a while and I wont have to spend on a separate PC to game. I had some money saved + I sold my PC here so it somehow got enough to buy this. Yeah, I could have gone with a cheaper one, or with some other brand which could have turned out to be cheaper but..Alienware man! I always dreamt of owning one so thought what the heck let me go through with it.

Its very heavy man. ~5kg I reckon.

Yeah the only two things that I added from the basic config was the GPU and the 1080p screen. Total came out to be $1850 (The basic config is for $1.5k) + tax which was around $250 = $2100.

Great Purchase..

Upgrade the Ram to 8GB and add an SSD in future to do justice to the Beast.

Happy Gaming dude..

Nah, I'm happy with the RAM. Only thing that I would want to add in the near future would be a 750GB-1TB HDD. :)

@Rest: Thanks a lot guys.
