I got an Asus branded desktop a couple of days ago, it based on the phenom II X6 + Asus M4A78LT-M. I am using the onboard graphics. Its connected to a Samsung P2450-H via the HDMI cable.
The problem is that after a while the text edges become multicolored and the only way to get rid of this problem is to unplug and re-plug the HDMI cable. This also happens after the monitor is turned on after a long time or if the pc resumes from sleep mode.
Each time unplugging the HDMI cable solves the problem.
I have been using the same HDMI for a while connecting my dell laptop to the same monitor Samsung P2450-H and never had this problem.
I have tried running clear type multiple times and that doesnt help either
I am not sure if this a motherboard problem or a shielding problem with the cable. I have tried different drivers but the problem persists.
Looking forward to your input guys!
Thanks!
