Hello,
I need to get myself a printer/scanner and a keyboard..
Budget for everything is around 4k-5k...
keyboard anything basic will do.. should be decent enough though..
As for the printer..It should have a scanner on it.. that's all.. will be using at home so very little printing will actually be done..
Thanks.. :)

^^ Get a standard Logitech / Microsoft Keyboard + mouse combo ~ 700/- as for printers here are your options in all in ones --

Theitdepot - HP Deskjet D1668 Printer -- HP Deskjet D1668 standard Printer.

Theitdepot - HP Deskjet Printer D2668 -- HP Deskjet standard Printer D2668.

Theitdepot - HP Deskjet 2050 All-in-One Printer -- HP Deskjet 2050 All-in-One Printer.

Theitdepot - HP Deskjet 1050 All In One Printer -- HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One Printer.

HP printers are your best bet as they offer a combo Cyan, Magenta, Yellow cartridge + 1 BlacK cartridge while competitors like Epson and Canon have individual Cyan, Magenta, Yellow cartridge and a BlacK cartridge this ends up jacking up the operational costs of the other printers.

check out tvs gold usb keyboard on ebay for around Rs.1500. the new rupee symbol is printed on keyboard beside numeral 4.

Comes bundled with font to allow display of the new rupee symbol.

I think this would be a perfectly useless justification to spend ~ 1500/- when OP can have a mouse + keyboard (albeit membrane based) ~ 700/-.

There's no harm in giving suggestions right? Respect others' suggestions/views and move on!

I am pretty sure you haven't used a mechanical KB either.
