Monitors Suggestion for Full HD Monitor 23" for around 10K

My old monitor, a ~5 year old Viewsonic 19", has died recently.
I was mainly using it as a display for my laptop. Now seems my laptop screen also showing some sign of age (screen flickering) - I shall be buying a new monitor.

My requirements -
Screen size: 23" + (well, I suppose 24" doesn't comes in my budget ;) )
Resolution: 1080p
Budget: ~10K INR

Shortlisted: Dell S2320.
(also looked at Dell S2240L - which seems to have good review).

Brand preference: I don't have any. I looked for dell as I heard it got decent a.s.s. I am fine with samsung/lg/benq - if its worth.

I'll be buying a mid-range desktop in coming days (well, I have plans :p ).
I'll not be playing much games (I use my Xbox+TV for that now a days) - rather I need the monitor for general home use - Movies/series/browsing/programming etc etc.

So any suggestion guys? Please do not suggest anything +5K my budget - I can manage adding 1 or 2K at most.

i am also in such dilemma now a days.
try looking at this-benq gw2450hm
price is rs 11.5k shipped from shopclues.i am sure you can get it at much lower from local market.

plus its a 24" and not 23".also it has amva panel as opposed to tn panel as most others have out there.

I have looked the AOC 2353 - but I found the stand is too weak - and also being the connecting ports placed on the base, I didn't liked the design.
The dell 2240 isn't available locally - and fk does not deliver that to kolkata. :(

Anyway, bought Dell S2320 from Velocity (chadni chowk, kolkata) for 9500.
 
@mathrisk can u post a detailed review of ur s2320. I am planning to build a home pc with a nice monitor to watch tv.my total budget is 22k of which arnd 9-10k i will be utilised for the monitor..ur review may help me and many others..
Some how i am inclined to aoc.as i had a led mibitor 943fwk sumthngblike that n is still working like a charm wit my bro..
