2+1= 3 GB DDR3 RAM (Corsair)

I wouldn't go for an AMD X2/Asus or Gigabyte at this price level. Would be better to stick on with an Intel dual core and Intel Original motherboard combination.

Please justify.

If Intel go with the Sandy bridge based rig rather than the old C2D architure based Pentium. They are two gen. behind in terms of architecture.

Components Description Price (INR)

Processor Intel PDC G620 3450

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2-B3 3450

RAM Corsair 2GB DDRIII 1333MHz 700

HDD Seagate 500GB 7200.12 1950

GPU Intel HD IGP -

Monitor Dell 1920IN 4900

Cabinet Zebronics Bijli W/O PSU 1100

PSU FSP saga II 350W 1500

Key Board Logitech SET - Optical Blk Mouse+ MMKB 650

Mouse NA -

ODD Samsung 22X SATA DVD 950

Total 18700

Slightly more than your budget. But worth it when compared to much older gen PDC.

If you have a tight budget constraint you can go for the AMD config and save Rs.1650.

You can invest that on a better cabby like the CM Elite 310 ~ 1.6k and a better PSU like the Gigabyte Superb 460w ~ 1.9k.

Processor AMD Athlon II x2 250 2800

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-MA78LMT-S2 2450

Yeah, copy-paste error. The AMD mobo has Raedon grpahics. The Intel has an integrated Intel HD Graphics.

the board that DA has suggested for building an AMD rig has Radeon IGP...

Yes... You can find it easily...

Can you suggest any new processor which is not yet available in market easily but launched ?

it depends on your budget and for what purpose you are building a rig... And BTW whats the point in suggesting a CPU which hasn't launched in India yet? See along with G620 , G840 and G850 were also launched but dont know why they haven't launched in India yet... They are pretty good VFM CPUs but i wouldn't like to advice you to buy any of them coz i dont know that when they will launch in India and when they will be widely available...

Sorry.. couldnt reply earlier...Well mate.. Its just my experience with entry level AMD processors and base level Asus/Gigabyte boards that compel me to say that.. No offense intended..
