Dell latitude 3540 is a very good option, 3-4k above your budget, but it's worth it.

Bought the Lenovo G50-70 just yesterday. I would say the build quality is decent. However, there is that feel that it is a fragile item which needs careful handling. Keyboard flexes obviously upon normal usage.
For the price that is paid, I feel it is worth it.

Got it from flipkart.. For 28k with 5k discount in exchange for my old laptop. Got the i3, 4gb ram, 500 gb hdd, freedos version.
