You see a dac(digital to analog converter) requires a digital signal(0's and 1's) as input and converts it to an analog signal(signal waves).

Yes I completely understand that.

Every DAP contains a DAC but a DAC itself is not a DAP :)

If I were to buy E7, I can use it with my Fuze however that is not possible with E10. Is that correct?

However as Fah33m and Nalin explain, if E7 has these QC issues, then it only makes sense to purchase E10.

Now, I have two options to get the E10.

a. Purchase and directly ship to Bangalore or

b. Have a friend in US to carry it while he returns next month.

I am reluctant to ship it directly because the last time I ordered a couple of Brainwavz IEMs, I was charged a few hundred bucks customs duty. Whereas a similar order by my friend in Chennai was not charged any duties.

So if you guys any experience in shipping them directly here, please share them.

It would help me make a decision whether to ship it directly or via my friend who is coming from US.
