Sound bar /speaker for 40” TV?

I bought a 40” Phillips tv and I’m not happy with the sound.

Can someone recommend a speaker or sound bar for me?

Budget is around 2-3,000

Not worth getting one on that budget, you'll probably end up getting worse sound.
Buy a decent 2.1 at 4-7k or look at soundbars from 8-15k, else it's won't really be an upgrade.

i am same problem,2 time speaker has been replaced due to blast.suddenly sound become muzzled and muffled...and its showing the sign 3rd time.so also want to upgrade

You cannot go wrong with these (Panasonic HT 21).
I can personally vouch for the sound quality and clarity. Truly a home theater experience.
