Sony's New WalkMan Series
Sony Electronics has put the whole Sony Bean thing behind it, and now are busy building on the success of its Walkman line.So the Sony’s latest addition to it Walkman family is the E000 range of digital music players.
Latest Walkman Series has unrivaled battery life ,which sets it apart from the competition(iPod).According to Sony, the latest Walkman players feature the exclusive quick-charge technology which gives three hours of battery life in just three minutes of charging.
Combining cutting-edge slimline style with excellent battery power, Sony’s new range is available with capacities ranging from 512MB to 1GB and 2GB.
The flash-based memory compact polycarbonate ‘sticks’ are ultra compact & Users can also opt from a range of vibrant colours like Pink, Blue, Black,Silver etc and the new series includes a new range of stylish accessories including neck strap headphones, protective case, and an armband case for listeners on-the-go.
The E000 Walkman range is compatible with most commonly used digital music formats like MP3, Sony’s ATRAC3 and unsecured WMA (non DRM) files. It offers easy download capabilities by direct connection through the USB port. Each player comes with the latest SonicStage 3.4 software version for easy music management and transfer of listeners’ favourite tracks.
While the 2GB model includes a FM Tuner, it is optional in the 1GB and 512 MB models.
The Sony Walkman Series also features a line dot matrix organic LED for crystal clear display and includes a 5-band Equalizer. It measures just about 79mm and weighs approx 25g, thus making it extremely portable and mobile. However one major flaw is the non compatibility with the DRM format.
The new Sony WALKMAN will be available from the end of April 2006 across Europe and US Pricing details have not yet been released.....
