Great if it is priced the same..

& Hope the battery problems are also resolved..

Why dont they introduce a Core i5-520M with Glossy Green Color

There is a

VPCEB16FG

• Intel® Core™ i3-330M Processor 2.13 GHz

• Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

• 15.5 (39.37 cm) wide (Full-HD: 1920 x 1080) VAIO Display Plus, LED Backlight

• ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5650 Graphics

VPCEB26FG [NEW]

• Intel® Core™ i3-350M Processor 2.26 GHz

• Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

• 15.5 (39.37 cm) wide (Full-HD: 1920 x 1080) VAIO Display Plus, LED Backlight

• ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5650 Graphics

Why dont they introduce a E-Series Model with following Specs

• Intel® Core™ i5-520M Processor

• Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

• 15.5 (39.37 cm) wide (Full-HD: 1920 x 1080) VAIO Display Plus, LED Backlight

• ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5650 Graphics

I have been waiting for E Series FullHD + Ati 5650 + Core i5 but no luck , checked out other laptops but the Full HD LED Display is just too good on this guess i will have to settle for a Core i3-350M.

I used to consider it a problem too, but it is not. Example to support my theory is the ASUS G73 laptop. All laptops with a dedicated GFX will not give you more than 2 hours. And that is a also quite generous.

Battery Life

While surfing the Web with minimum screen brightness, we squeezed one hour and 48 minutes out of the G73’s 8-cell battery pack. This is respectable for a large gaming notebook.

ASUS G73JH Performance, Battery Life and Conclusion

^^ Hmm.. I didn't Mean the battery life,
But the unusual battery drain during hibernate and standby...

Update: Price released Its just below 52k

The price of EB16 was 50k(MRP) which had exactly same specs as this EB26(52k) ,except for the processor earlier it was i3@2.13GHZ now its i3@2.26GHz. So, they have increased 2k for just a very minor, unnoticeable change in specs

is it really good to see full HD in 15.5 inch screen? gosh no
i have 18.4 inch laptop and my resolution is always 1600*900 u cant afford more then this on a laptop at all.

I believe at fullHD resolution, the i3 processor will be the bottleneck 2nd to the graphics card and the screen. also, small screen with such high resolution will be difficult to use since 1366x768 is enough for 15 inch and my desktop 19" is good at 1440x900. i believe full hd demands bigger screen real eastate than 15inch. Those looking at fullhd gaming could consider the new dell vostro 3700 which looks very exciting.
