My net connection is almost okay (ISP: Asianet). However have been facing some very occasional drops in connectivity. Nothing serious (till now).

Dude what server you play at name please? :D.The only server i get 150ms ping's are the gamesonnet server from australia:)
 
I am on Bsnl in Bangalore and speed here is worse than internet access on Airtel Mobile office. Torrent download's won't just start! All I get is timed out messages! atleast, now I know whats causing this,lol.
 
Am gettting very high ping rates on BSNL 3g connection, though download speed is very good... will this undersea cable even affect 3G connections?:S
 
Super slow on bsnl broadband here in tvm.

Looks like there is a slight improvement in broadband as a whole in india, with many higher speed plans coming in -- referring to the ones where there is high speed download for a few GB and unlimited download until the next month @ 256kbits...

Hoping that a price war is triggered and we get 2 mbps/50GB for less than 1k in the next 3 years...

Why the sarcasm? The slowdown is because of the SEA-ME-WE4 repairs. Needless to say, I am feeling the pain here too. Apparently Airtel is routing all EU connections via Sing-Japan-US.

Ohwell, repairs are supposed to be completed by the 30th. Until then, I shall relive the times of 3kbps downloads, I guess. :S

internet is working fine here. had a few issues for the first day when the undersea cable was cut, but it's been smooth since then. using reliance broadband.
 
My local cable internet is damn slow. Most of the sites hosted outside India do not even open. :(

Luckily my Photon+ is working fine. :)

fluctuation...... if ping is 100ms and flux is +-3 then ping varies betwn 98-102ms

3G is wireless net..... so pings r always high for wireless connection...... since download speed is good, there is nothing wrong with ur connection

Since the undersea cable is down, pings will be as high as 300ms...... but once everything is repaired pings will be back to 150ms...... I am on MTNL Triband 2Mbps....... plans below 2Mbps will give higher pings(~220ms)
