Thanks but i tried Ginger break and it managed to Root my bro's Wildfire only issues was i had to manual restart the phone

Yes that is possible but why don't you want to keep the root?
 
Can you explain what you meant by this?
I want to root my SGS i9003. I have Gingerbread 2.3.6 and i want to try ICS. Never done any of this before. Help will be very much appreciated

phone shows:
Baseband version - I9003DDKP4
Build number - GINGERBREAD.DDKP3
Placing SU binaries and installing Superuser from market = Rooted phone for our SGS
